Druztová: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Church of St. Mary Magdalene reveals several phases of construction in Druztová: it was built in 1351 and was originally Gothic. In 1699, it was expanded; its presbytery received a barrel vault, while the nave was fitted with a wooden coffered ceiling. The Neo-Gothic high altar dates from 1906.

Culture and History

The Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk is also part of the area's sacred history. The Baroque hexagonal building was completed in 1745 and consecrated after 196 days of construction. A statue of St. John of Nepomuk stands above its entrance portal; masses are still celebrated there in winter.

Věžka Castle was destroyed in 1478. Today, only remnants of the surrounding walls and the inner buildings remain. The ruins of Věžka Castle are located in Druztová on a rocky summit above the left bank of the Berounka.

Nature and Trails

Malochova skalka is a protected nature reserve with rare flora in Horní Berounka Nature Park. Established in Druztová in 2003, the educational trail “In the Footsteps of František Moloch” comprises 11 information panels. The educational trail “In the Footsteps of František Maloch” leads through Horní Berounka Nature Park.

Festivals and Culinary Delights

The Magdalenská pouť pilgrimage festival held in Druztová in July includes snail races, which take place every two years. At Stodolní hospůdka in Druztová, visitors can sample beers from Pivovar Radouš brewery.
