Křelovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Křelovice lies on a gentle western slope surrounded by meadows and agriculturally used land. The village is situated at an elevation of 500 to 530 metres.

The Šipín cycling circuit is 48 kilometres long and leads from Rozněvice via Křelovice to Skupeč.

History

Křelovice was first mentioned in writing in 1483 and at that time belonged as an appurtenance to the small town of Manětín. In the same year, Bohuslav ze Švamberka incorporated Křelovice into his domain of Krasíkov Castle (Švamberk).

The historical connections continue in the local districts: Pakoslav was first mentioned in 1379 as the seat of the Vladik Jindřich. The fortress in Pakoslav is mentioned in 1397 as belonging to Frycek z Prostiboře and is no longer mentioned after the death of Jan Hvozdíř around 1457.

Mydlovary is mentioned in 1115 in the founding charter of the Benedictine monastery in Kladruby and was associated with the Markvart family of Hrádek from 1379 onwards. Rozněvice, a local district of Křelovice, is first mentioned in 1273 in a document issued by Pope Gregory X. The Premonstratensian monastery of Teplá owned Rozněvice until 1576; from 1642 onwards, it once again belonged to the Teplá monastic domain.

Local Details

Next to the reconstructed monument to the victims of the First World War stands an information board. There is a chapel in Rozněvice, and the Rozněvice pond has also been reconstructed.
