Kozolupy: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The oldest documented written mention of Kozolupy dates back to 1186. The Kozolupy Museum was founded in 2016 to present the municipality and its surrounding area.

Culture and History

The Kozolupy Museum can be visited on Saturdays during the school holidays from 2 to 5 p.m. or by individual arrangement with the museum attendant, Brachtelem. Direct contact is available at telephone number 774 248 251.

The Church of St. Stephen is a Baroque replacement building constructed between 1777 and 1782, replacing a medieval church mentioned in 1366. It has a rectangular nave, a façade tower, a side chapel and a sacristy, casula-shaped windows, and a tower with an onion dome.

Transport and Cycle Paths

Kozolupy railway station is located on railway line 177 Plzeň–Bezdružice. Cycle route No. 37 also runs through Kozolupy.

Construction work on the cycle and pedestrian path is being carried out predominantly outside built-up areas and affects only parts of the peripheral areas of the settlements. The project comprises the construction of a separate, shared-use path suitable for travel in both directions by cyclists and pedestrians, connecting Kozolupy with Město Touškov. A new 0.735 km-long cycle and pedestrian path between Kozolupy and Město Touškov is planned.

Landscape and Surroundings

The wider regional surroundings of Kozolupy include Berdovna, a mountain, and Radyně, also a mountain. In the immediate vicinity of Kozolupy are Čemínské lesy near Újezd nade Mží, a hill, and Stráž near Chotíkov, also a hill.
