Vyšehněvice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The historic distillery building in Vyšehněvice was built in 1904. Part of its technical equipment has been preserved in its original form and is of technical interest.

Culture and History

Vyšehněvice is home to a cross with a memorial plaque commemorating the victims of the First World War and a small bell tower. The cross was erected in 1864, and the memorial plaque was added after the First World War. The Church of Svatý Jiří is also located in the surrounding area. In the wider regional area around Vyšehněvice is Zámek Kačina castle.

The annual local calendar also includes the lighting of the Christmas tree: on 29 November 2025, the 19th edition had already taken place in Vyšehněvice.

The hills of Nadýmač [Břehy], Sušina [Sopřeč], and Soudný [Chýšť] are located in the immediate surroundings of Vyšehněvice. The mountain of Kamenec rises in the wider regional area.

Cycling Route

Cycling route 4274, which is 13 km long, passes through Vyšehněvice. It runs from Lázně Bohdaneč via Žáravice to Vápno.

Local and Culinary Life

The municipal restaurant in Vyšehněvice has a garden area and serves hot meals. At the Vyšehněvická pouť, visitors could also sample and rate entries in a culinary competition.
