Dlouhá Třebová: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The local history of Dlouhá Třebová can be seen in its churches, sculptures, and memorial sites. The Kostel sv. Prokopa Church was consecrated on December 8, 1906, and was built in the Neo-Gothic style. It houses the Prokop bell, which was acquired in 1753.

Culture and History

The Kaple sv. Josefa Chapel was built in 1898 and contains a painting of Saint Joseph donated by Josef Šár. The Socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého is also among the protected religious monuments: it was erected on June 27, 1826, and is a state-protected cultural monument.

The Socha sv. Prokopa is a protected, life-size monument. Annual processions to the Socha sv. Prokopa continue to take place.

The Památník Obětem válek memorial commemorates the men who did not return from the battlefields of the First World War. It includes a lion made of Hořice sandstone. Following its reconstruction in 2014, the grounds were landscaped as a park and made fully accessible.

The Sousoší Nejsvětější trojice consists of sandstone, was acquired in 1887, and has been a cultural monument since 1996.

The central part of Dlouhá Třebová is home to the Pomník svobody, a stone memorial mound. It was erected in 1924. The Pomník svobody features three bronze emblems of Jan Hus, Jan Žižka, and Tomáš G. Masaryk.
