Sobkovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Sobkovice lies on the southern slope of Faltusův kopec at an elevation of 558 metres above sea level. In clear weather, it offers views of Lázek near Lanškroun, Buková hora, Suchý vrch, the Králický Sněžník range, Adam, the Studenecké skály rocks and the Krkonoše Mountains.

Landscape and Trails

The Studenský a Jablonský les hiking route reaches Sobkovice via Bořitov and Faltusův kopec. From the Church of St Procopius, it descends to the Tichá Orlice River. In addition, a yellow-marked trail leads from Sobkovice towards the Pastvinská přehrada reservoir.

Culture

The Church of St Procopius stands in the central part of Sobkovice on the main road, in the middle of a small cemetery enclosed by a stone wall. The late Baroque branch church was built in 1774 on the site of an older chapel dating from 1728.

A chapel was built around 1875 at the upper end of Sobkovice, on the road to Studené. Sobkovice is also home to a Boží muka wayside shrine dating from 1826.

Traditional pre-Christmas markets are held in Sobkovice at Hostinec pod Věží. Advent concerts were held in the Church of St Procopius on 10 December 2023 and 14 December 2025.

The Minigolf Sobkovice miniature golf course is located in Sobkovice 561 64.
