Přívrat: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Přívrat lies in the upper areas of the “Kozlovský hřbet” ridge, near the pass over which the road from Litomyšl to Česká Třebová runs. The location connects the village with a distinctive upland landscape and a network of paths that are also used in winter.

The Zacharovce forest area lies in the northern part of Přívrat; continuous strips of woodland run along the edge of Přívrat’s cadastral area. The village landscape also includes five ponds: Dolní Přívratský rybník, Trucovný rybník, Prostřední rybník, Komárek and Horní rybník.

Culture and Local Traditions

A cast-iron cross at house number 48 is registered in Přívrat as an immovable cultural monument and was restored in 2005. Přívrat is also home to the branch church of sv. Františka Xaverského. The monument to Karel Kovařovic commemorates the composer’s stay in Přívrat, where he composed the opera Psohlavci in 1896.

The history of music also extends into the present day: the international Antonína Bennewitze Music Festival, which has borne this name since 1999, also includes a concert in Přívrat; Antonín Bennewitz was born there.

Wine and Regional Customs

Přívratské Vinobraní dates back to a local tradition from the 1930s and was revived in 1987. At Přívratské Vinobraní, wine, Burčák and traditional potato pancakes are among the offerings.

Activities in Different Seasons

Marked hiking trails connect Přívrat with the surrounding towns. In winter, these marked trails around Přívrat can be used for cross-country skiing. At SKI AREÁL Přívrat, the public ski lifts operate daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the winter months, provided there is sufficient snow cover. The area has downhill slopes intended for alpine skiing and snowboarding.

At the PINGUin park in Přívrat, children and adults can try a bungee trampoline.

Getting There and Nearby Routes

The bus stations in Česká Třebová, with stop 4, and in Ústí nad Orlicí, with stop 7, are listed; the Česká Třebová–Vysoké Mýto bus route is also included. Dlouhá Třebová can be reached from Přívrat via a walk of approximately 3 km, taking about 35 minutes.
