Zbudov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

At the edge of the forest above the Pastviny Reservoir stands the hiking signpost “Zbudov, Samoty”. From there, marked trails lead in four directions. In the immediate vicinity of Zbudov lies the protected rock formation Zemská brána on the Divoká Orlice, near the Pastviny Reservoir and Klášterec nad Orlicí. Zbudov is also located in the Žamberk–Králíky CHOPAV area.

Trails through the surrounding area

From the “Zbudov, Samoty” hiking signpost, the red-marked trail leads downhill past the church to Klášterec nad Orlicí. A longer circular tour can start in Zbudov and return to Zbudov via a cycle path. This circular tour includes an ascent of more than 300 metres.

Cycle Routes

The red “Kunvaldská” cycle route and the light-blue “Zaberská” cycle route pass through the Zemská brána area and its surroundings. Both have a starting point with an information board in Zbudov. The red “Kunvaldská” cycle route is classified as moderately difficult and has an estimated cycling time of 1.5 hours without breaks. The light-blue “Zaberská” cycle route is also classified as moderately difficult; its estimated cycling time without breaks is two hours.

The “From Klášterec nad Orlicí via Potoky and Amerika and back again” cycle route begins in the Zbudov district of Klášterec nad Orlicí. It follows the Černý potok, whose banks are lined with wooded rocks, and joins the blue-marked trail from Zemská brána. It also passes through a valley protected on three sides by slopes and forest, through which the Černý potok flows.

Culture

The protected rural house No. 13 is located in Zbudov.
