Cenkovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Čenkovice ski resort has seven slopes, two of which are lit for night skiing. The ski resort also includes a snow park with its own lift.

Winter and Sports

For the winter season, there are three mechanically groomed cross-country skiing trails in the Čenkovice, Buková hora and Suchý vrch area, measuring 8.3 km, 8.6 km and 17.5 km. They connect to the cross-country skiing trails in the Orlické hory Mountains. More than 30 kilometres of mechanically groomed cross-country skiing tracks are also maintained in the Čenkovice, Buková hora and Suchý vrch area. Jeřáb is also indicated among the cross-country connections from Čenkovice.

The all-terrain karts in Čenkovice, designed for safe downhill rides, are suitable for children and adults. The all-terrain karts descend on the grass-covered Vigona ski slope; a ski lift takes their users to the top of the hill.

Culture and History

The listed immovable cultural heritage site of the Church of St. Lawrence in Čenkovice comprises the church, the enclosing wall and the cemetery gate. The late Baroque Church of St. Lawrence was built between 1780 and 1782 on the site of an older wooden church, which was already mentioned in 1667.

The Cross by the Church of St. Lawrence in Čenkovice is a stone cross on a pedestal with a figurative relief. It dates from 1800 and was restored in 1920. The statue of St. John of Nepomuk in Čenkovice is a valuable High Baroque sculpture dating from 1736. Also located in Čenkovice is the former evangelical parsonage No. 68, a historically significant building from the first half of the 19th century.

The Čenkovička natural monument protects a rich occurrence of spring snowflakes.

Summer

The sports complex in Čenkovice is open to visitors during the summer season and offers refreshments, a tennis court, a mini-golf course, courts for volleyball, nohejbal and football, and a small climbing wall. The sports complex also has a children's playground with a sandbox.
