Cotkytle: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The V dole nature reserve is located in the Herbortice district of the municipality of Cotkytle, in the valley of the Hraniční potok stream. The Selský potok natural monument is also located in the Herbortice district of the municipality of Cotkytle.
History
The parish church of the Ascension of the Lord in Cotkytle is first mentioned in 1350. In 1726, it was completely rebuilt and dedicated to Saint John of Nepomuk. The historic furnishings and surroundings also include several crosses: a stone cross by the church in Cotkytle was erected in 1797, and a stone cross in Cotkytle around the turn of 1856 and 1857. In 1883, an iron cross on a stone pedestal was also erected near Cotkytle.
Events
The COTKYTLéto family music mini-festival was held for the second time in 2024. Local and regional artists performed at this second edition, which also featured a children's programme. The Sraz rodáků a přátel obce was an annual gathering of former residents and friends of the municipality in Cotkytle. At the 2024 Sraz rodáků a přátel obce, the NOA band played music for listening and dancing throughout the day and evening.
Poslední leč is a recurring hunting event in Cotkytle. Its 2024 programme included hunting specialities, dancing to music by the Méďa Band and a raffle. The pilgrimage programme in Cotkytle on 14 and 15 May 2022 included a dance evening, refreshments at the cultural centre and children's attractions.
Activities
Except for one Covid year, TJ Cotkytle organises an annual cycling tour to a fishery in the Polish border region. The Tělovýchovná jednota Cotkytle organised a cycling tour to a fishery in Kamieńczyk for 21 June 2026; the meeting point was at 9 a.m. in front of the municipal office in Cotkytle.
The Pochod Viliama Havrdy was held for the first time in 2023 and for the second time in 2024 as an organised march between Cotkytle and the chapel in Janoušov. The route of the first edition in 2023 was 8 km long and offered refreshment options.
