Nová Ves: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

In Nová Ves, the Mezi Orlicemi educational trail runs through the settlement and along the Velký Karlov and Malý Karlov ponds. The trail is suitable for both hiking and cycling.

Landscape and water

Mount Strýc is located in the vicinity of Nová Ves. The nearby area also includes the hill (Radíkovec) [Újezd u Chocně], the hill (Osiková leč) [Čermná nad Orlicí-Velká Čermná], and Kamenitý kopec hill [Kostelecké Horky].

The Orlice river system forms the basis of the Orlice Nature Park, which includes numerous protected areas and nature reserves. Along the section of the Tichá Orlice between Choceň and Týniště nad Orlicí, there are several weirs and mill races.
