Dobříkov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The wooden church of Dobříkov dates back to 1679: it was built in Velká Kopani, in what is now Ukraine’s Zakarpattia Oblast, and transferred to Dobříkov on 27 July 1930. It has been listed as an immovable cultural monument since 1963.
Culture and History
Visits to the wooden church can be arranged through local contacts. The V.-J.-Klofáč Memorial in the fortified „Na Valech“ grounds is also part of the historic character of the village. This cultural monument comprises a forester’s lodge, the Klofáč Villa, ramparts, a moat, a cellar and a belvedere. The V.-J.-Klofáč Memorial and the fortified „Na Valech“ grounds are open by arrangement during and outside the season.
The statue of Jan Hus was declared a cultural monument in 2004. It is approximately five metres high and made of fine-grained yellow sandstone; it was unveiled on 25 August 1912.
The local culture of remembrance also includes the old wooden bell tower of Dobříkov, which was renovated by local residents in 1989, and the memorial to the fallen. The latter is a four-metre-high sculpture on a sandstone pedestal commemorating the residents of Dobříkov and Rzy who fell in the war from 1914 to 1918. On the upper village square stands the „Dobříkovským z Malejova“ monument, a granite monument featuring a bronze coat of arms of the Dobříkovský z Malejova family.
Nature
Rzy Bird Park is located between Rzy and Dobříkov in the floodplain of the Loučná stream. A total of 213 bird species have been recorded in the park; approximately 100 species breed in the wetland and its immediate surroundings.
Rzy Bird Park can be reached via Zámrsk railway station and by car. The water surface can be observed from several spots there. The wetland is an important breeding area for numerous wetland and meadow birds, an important stopover site during migration and a source of food all year round.
