Dolni Orlice: Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Hraběcí educational trail is connected with a fairy-tale story that is loosely related to the history of the village. Two original shelters with benches invite visitors to rest and enjoy a snack.

Pilgrimage masses were celebrated in the Chapel of St. Anne in Dolní Orlice following prior notice.

Playgrounds and Access

The children’s playground in Dolní Orlice has play equipment for children aged 3 to 14. This includes slides, swings, a fire station tower with play elements, a small square trampoline, a training hexagon, a climbing fire engine and spring riders. The playground is fenced and lined along its southeast side with mature trees that provide shade for all visitors during the summer months.

Access to the children’s playground is fully barrier-free for prams, bicycle trailers and wheelchairs. Access to the forest playground is also fully barrier-free for prams, bicycle trailers and wheelchairs via an unpaved field path.

Railway and Parking

Dolní Orlice is a stop on railway line 024. At the Dolní Orlice multifunctional sports field, parking is available in front of the adjacent fire station, provided that the exit for fire engines is not blocked. There is also parking available in the car park at the nearby Čertovka restaurant.

Cycle Route 4077

The regional cycle route 4077 runs through Dolní Orlice along the route from Lichkov via Horní Boříkovice and Červená Voda to Králíky, Dolní Hedeč and Pohořelec. There is a junction of this route in Dolní Orlice. The cycle route through Dolní Orlice is classified as difficult. It passes through the southern part of the Orlické Mountains and partly follows Class III roads and paved field paths.
