Nature

The Bošínská obora borders Bošín. It encompasses meadows from the former game enclosures and pheasantry, distinctive solitary trees, park-like landscaping and an artificial water basin. As a nature reserve, the Bošínská obora covers 36.7811 hectares and was first designated on 1 May 1995. It protects near-natural floodplain woodland with imposing old trees. Several protected bird, beetle and plant species are also found there.

Hiking

The “Choceňská naučná stezka” educational trail passes through Bošín. The 35 km circular route is divided into two loops of 16 and 19 km. A shortcut leads from Kostelecké Horky through Bošín to Choceň.

Culture
