On the village square in Čepí stands the Chapel of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, built in 1871.

Culture and History

In 1881, a bronze hoard was discovered in the Olšina field near Čepí. It comprised two large bronze fibulae, 29 bronze arm rings and fragments of bronze jewellery.

Two mammoth molars were found at a depth of 7 metres in the Čepí brickworks. At a depth of 9 metres, part of a prehistoric deer antler was also unearthed there.

The exhibition “Treasures of the History of the Municipality of Čepí” covers, among other things, the tradition of brickmaking in the village. From April 2021, the permanent exhibition “Treasures of the History of the Municipality of Čepí” was scheduled to be established in the Čepí municipal hall.

Landscape and Surroundings

The Dubanka stream flows through the built-up area of Čepí.

Bučina Mountain, Krkanka Mountain and the Church of Saint George are located in the surroundings of Čepí. In the immediate vicinity are the hill (Na Hranicích) [Jeníkovice u Choltic] and Chrast Hill [Jeníkovice u Choltic]. Kačina Chateau is located in the wider regional surroundings of Čepí.

Cycle Paths and Local Life

Čepí is part of the cycling network of the Za Letištěm microregion association. The Čepí Angling Association holds fishing competitions several times a year.

Bus route 606 operated from 1 July to 31 August 2025 in the Čepí–Pardubice direction and back.
