Culture and History

The Church of St. Michael in Vrchoslavice preserves valuable Renaissance tombstones. The complex of the Church of St. Michael is listed as an immovable cultural monument and is intended to be protected and preserved.

The chapel in Dlouhá Ves dates from the period after 1867. Since 2014, a holy mass with a small pilgrimage has been held there in May or June. The obelisk was erected in 1855 by the married couple Jan and Františka Hrabčík in place of an earlier metal cross.

Nature

Lopaťák consists of three interconnected water basins whose primary function is to shape the landscape. The basins are part of the ecological stability system in a local biocentre and create living conditions for aquatic animals.

An asphalt access road leads to Lopaťák and connects to the cycle path from Němčice nad Hanou to Vrchoslavice; the route is suitable for cyclists and inline skaters.

Local Events

A meeting of residents from three municipalities is held regularly at Lopaťák on New Year's Day. Regular and now traditional events in Zamlýní include Běh osvobození, hasičský úterek pro děti, and Hodové soutěže.

The Vrchoslavice parish organizes concerts, Corpus Christi celebrations, Noc kostelů, and summer activities for children.
