The Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Rakůvka is a protected monument and is considered a landmark of the village; it was extensively renovated in 2012. The picturesque Kyselka Valley borders the southeastern edge of Rakůvka’s cadastral area. Its mineral water provides refreshment for people from the surrounding area as well as for tourists and cyclists.
Culture
The local traditions are also part of Rakůvka’s character. The Mother’s Day celebration always takes place on the second Saturday in May; a cultural programme performed by local children, flowers and refreshments are planned. On Christmas Eve, Rakůvka features a Christmas radio broadcast and the playing of Christmas carols.
