Culture and History

The Chapel of St. John and St. Paul in Slatinky was built in 1822. The small building has an approximately square nave, a semicircular chancel end, and a four-sided bell tower above the entrance in the façade.

The local custom known as “ostatky” is held annually in Slatinky. Archaeological evidence of Celtic settlement has been found in the local cadastral area of U královy borovice in Slatinky. The Neolithic figurine known as the Kosířská Venuše was also found near Slatinky.
