Nelešovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Nelešovice is situated in gently hilly terrain shaped by the last foothills of the Oderské vrchy range. The Kopřivnice–Nelešovka stream flows through the cadastral area, while the local Za Rábovým hill reaches an elevation of 273 metres above sea level.

The hills Na Kokorských kopcích [Nelešovice], ORECHOVA [PREROV-LHOTKA] and Přední kopec [Kokory] are located in the immediate vicinity of Nelešovice. The Růžový Kopec mountain is also located in the wider regional area.

Culture and History

A statue of the Svatohostýnská Madonna dating from 1909 stands in the centre of Nelešovice. The village square in the centre is home to the Chapel of Saint Roch, Saint Sebastian, Saint Fabian and Saint Rosalia of Limana. It was built in 1720 following a major plague epidemic.

Nelešovice is also home to a memorial erected and designed by local citizens in honour of people who did not return from the First or Second World War or were murdered in concentration camps.

Every year, the Nelešovice Volunteer Fire Brigade organises a Children's Day at the Sokol sports ground.
