Two marked cycle paths run through Čechy. In Čechy and the surrounding area, there are bus stops with connections on route 941 between Vsetín and Přerov; the buses run on weekdays and at weekends.

Culture and History

The bell tower in Čechy is a state-protected, two-storey historic monument dating from the second half of the 18th century. Its bronze bell was cast in 1759 at the workshop of bell founder Wolfgang Straub in Olomouc. The bell tower is one of the last surviving structures of its kind in the Czech Republic.

Commemorative traditions are also part of local life: Čechy holds a traditional lantern procession to commemorate the victims of the world wars.

Landscape and Local Character

Outside the main part of Čechy lies Dvůr Mariánov, an independent former agricultural estate complex. At Dvůr Mariánov, outside the built-up area of Čechy, there are racehorse stables where horse rides are available. The location of Dvůr Mariánov outside the village, near forests, provides a starting point for walks in the surrounding area.

Trees were planted on the former Sokolský stadion in Čechy at the beginning of the 20th century. Today, they form a significant group of protected trees.
