Nahošovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
At the western edge of the Nahošovice municipality, the Dřevohostický les Natura 2000 site extends into the area in two sections.
Culture and History
The chapel in Nahošovice, dedicated to the Holy Trinity, was built in 1874 on the site of a former wooden bell tower. The solitary hill near Zajíček is also one of the notable traces of the area’s history: it is considered the largest of the local hills. Excavations uncovered pottery sherds, a flint knife, and stone axes.
The former fortress of Nahošovice stood in the northeastern part of the settlement, near the village centre. Only a small mound measuring approximately 6.5 × 3 metres remains of the 14th-century fortress; it rises around 1.5 metres above the bottom of the moat.
