Lazníčky: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Lazníčky is located in the Tršická pahorkatina between Olomouc and Lipník nad Bečvou, north of Přerov and at the foot of Nízký Jeseník and Oderské vrchy. The village is therefore embedded in a landscape whose classification connects several distinctive landscape areas.

Geographical Location and Landscape

The surrounding landscape is characterized by rounded hills, plateaus, slopes, and valleys. Rural settlements, fields, hop gardens, and forests alternate between them. A stream flowing through Lazníčky rises north of the village center, flows south into the Říka, and then into the Bečva.

Named elevations can also be found in the immediate and wider surroundings: Růžový Kopec mountain is located in the vicinity of Lazníčky, while Břehonuše hill and Kopaniny hill are both in the nearby surroundings. Skalice mountain is located in the wider regional surroundings of Lazníčky.

History and Culture

The settlement from which Lazníčky later developed has been documented in writing since 1365. Three years after compulsory schooling was introduced in 1775, Lazníčky had a school for pupils from Lazníky, Výkleky, Zakřov, Svrčov, and Lazníčky. In 1885, up to 250 children attended the school in Lazníčky. The Chapel of the Beheading of St. John the Baptist in Lazníčky also dates from that year.

Several cultural attractions are located in the wider regional surroundings of Lazníčky. They include the Church of Our Lady of the Snows, the Church of St. Michael, Čechovy sady Park, and the Monument to the Victims of the First World War.

Hiking and Cycling

Cycle Route 6058 connects Tršice, Lazníčky, Výkleky, Veselíčko, and Hranice na Moravě. A green-marked hiking trail also runs through Lazníčky along the Přerov–Tršice–Lazníčky–Veselíčko section.

One cycling tour includes a visit to the Žalov monument. Another cycling tour includes swimming in the Výkleky quarry.
