Ústí Nad Bečvou: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Spa History

The history of Lázně Teplice nad Bečvou dates back to 1553, making it one of the oldest spas in Moravia. The design of Lázeňský park on the slope on the left bank of the Bečva dates back to the beginning of the 19th century and is particularly associated with Josef Chotek.

Culture and Architecture

The Chapel of St Peregrine was built in 1775 by Karel z Ditrichštejna. Another distinctive building is the Lázeňský pavilón – pavilón Galašův pramen near Spa House No. 38. The listed pavilion is registered under the ÚSKP number 44827/8-3082 and has been protected as a historic monument since 9 April 1990. It was built by Alois Jambor based on the architectural design of Prague architect Karel Kotas.

The adjoining hotel building of the Bečva complex at No. 38 was built by Alois Jambor from Hranice and is architecturally and urbanistically connected to the restaurant building. The listed Lázeňský pavilón – pavilón Kropáčova pramene is a spacious Neoclassical building from 1925 that marks the end of the riverside promenade along the Bečva.
