Císařov: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Císařov was established in 1785 as a new municipality with 50 building plots and built with two rows of houses opposite each other, evenly spaced throughout, extending from northwest to southeast.

History

The newly established municipality was originally intended to be called Joseflust. The statue of Our Lady of Lourdes was erected in Císařov in 1900.

Culture

Farmstead No. 45 is a rural building from the late 18th century and is listed as a cultural monument in Císařov. It is a single-storey residential building with a covered passageway and an annuity apartment; the façade facing the village square is decorated with original stucco mortarwork.

In the village square in front of House No. 6 stands the statue of Saint Anne Selbdritt. The monumental late Baroque sculpture is dated 1795.

Landscape

The marked cycle route No. 5042 connects Prostějov and Přerov via Císařov. In the northern part of Císařov, visitors can see a cascade of ponds with protected animal species along this cycle route. Císařov is set in the landscape of Haná.
