Culture and History

The T. G. Masaryk Monument in Loučka was unveiled on August 5, 1919. The monument consists of a life-size sandstone bust on a truncated granite pyramid. During the Protectorate, local Sokol members dismantled the T. G. Masaryk Monument and hid the bust in the village well; it was recovered in July 1945.

The Chapel of Saint John the Baptist was built in 1838 on the site of an earlier wooden bell tower. A memorial plaque at the chapel commemorates those who fell in both world wars. In front of the chapel stands a stone cross with the corpus of the crucified Christ. Loučka's monuments of local importance also include the Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius. A statue of Our Lady of Lourdes is also among Loučka's monuments of local importance.
