Luběnice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Luběnice is located in the western part of the Hornomoravský úval, where fertile Haná gradually transitions into the Zábřežská vrchovina. The landscape is shaped by the long-extinct Kosíř volcano.

Nature and landscape

The Zlatá stružka stream flows through Luběnice. An old tree-lined avenue in Luběnice is suitable for a peaceful walk.

Village square and history

The oldest part of Luběnice is the village square complex with typical row development and plots that have preserved their original historical layout. In the centre of the village square stands the Chapel of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, dating from the 18th century. It was reconstructed and reconsecrated in 2000. Next to the chapel stands a statue of the Madonna and Child from 1899.

Behind Luběnice, a stone cross stands on a field path leading to Těšetice. The birthplace of Josef Sekanina, house number 49, is also among Luběnice’s locally significant heritage sites.

Leisure and events

The area behind the Luběnice cultural centre has a minigolf course. The Municipality of Luběnice, local associations and other organisations hold several cultural events every year. These include the raising and felling of the maypole, as well as a Christmas market.

On 11 June 2026, the Municipality of Luběnice published the programme for the 2026 summer cinema in Luběnice.

Getting there

Luběnice is connected to the higher-level road network via road III/44923. Rail access to Luběnice is provided via the nearby Slatinice stop.

The Hostinec U hasičů inn is located on a cycle path and serves as a rest stop for many cycle tourists.
