Olbramice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Olbramice showcases its history not only through individual buildings, but also through its preserved historic linear settlement structure: a linear village green and buildings arranged along the road are characteristic features of the village. The traditional rural settlement comprises farmsteads, detached and terraced houses, as well as gardens and orchards.

Culture and History

The Chapel of Saint Vitus was completed in 1937 and extensively reconstructed in 2002; a sacristy was added during this reconstruction. Mass is currently celebrated in the chapel once a month.

The village of “Olbramicz” was first mentioned in 1368 in a Latin entry in the land registers of the Olomouc jurisdiction.

At the eastern end of Olbramice, on the road to Náměšť na Hané, the column with a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk is registered as an immovable cultural monument. The free-standing column is a folk stone work from the mid-19th century and features a relief of Saint Florian.

Village Character

A cross on the village green in front of the bell tower is registered as an immovable cultural monument. The bell tower on the village green is listed as a monument of local significance. At the edge of the forest in the direction of Náměšť na Hané, a wayside shrine is listed as a monument of local significance. The wooden cross on the road to Bohuslavice and the stone cross in the cemetery are also each listed as monuments of local significance.

Nature and Surroundings

In the vicinity of Olbramice, outside the municipality, the Terezské údolí nature park lies to the east of the municipality, while regional biocentre No. 267 Terezské údolí lies to the southeast.
