Náklo: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Náklo is a typical Haná municipality in the flat landscape in the center of Haná. In the village, one can still encounter the increasingly rare Haná dialect – a local accent that also makes the region’s distinctiveness visible in linguistic terms.

Water

Clear rules apply at Pískovna for the various activities: swimming is permitted only in designated areas and at one’s own risk. Sport fishing is possible there year-round in designated areas. Water sports also require the approval of the extraction company.

Culture

Náklo’s recurring cultural calendar includes Vítání jara in March. Toward the end of the year, Náklo’s seniors’ club prepares an exhibition of Christmas baked goods.

A defining structure is Kostel sv. Jiří. The stone Renaissance church with a Gothic core was built on the site of an older structure between 1696 and 1698 at the expense of the Premonstratensians of Hradisko. It stands on a raised central site in Náklo where a castle formerly stood. The grounds include a surrounding wall with a gate around the former cemetery.

In the immediate vicinity of Náklo lies Zápověď [Náklo], a hill. The surrounding area also includes Kostel sv. Michala, a church, and Čechovy sady, a park.

In the wider regional surroundings of Náklo are Kostel Panny Marie Sněžné, a church, as well as the mountains Skalice and Horka. Also located there are Pomník obětem 1. světové války and Socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého, both monuments.

The regional tourist route “Z Litovle do Hanáckého skanzenu v Příkazech” runs through Náklo. It is connected to cycle route 6027 and is also signposted as Lesánkova NS.
