Konice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Konice regularly hosts the Žváčkův Festival of Brass Music. It is held in honour of the composer Antonín Žváček, who came from the Haná region.

Culture

Zámek Konice is a Baroque château with two gardens. The château houses the Muzeum řemesel Konicka, which presents traditional crafts, including milling, scale making, blacksmithing, brewing and tailoring. The museum also has a collection of axes that is listed in the Guinness World Records.

Guided tours of Zámek Konice are available; it also houses an information centre.

Landscape

The Konicka region lies in a picturesque landscape with the gently rolling slopes of the Drahanská vrchovina highlands. The Romže River flows through the Konicka region.

Cycling

The Romže Cycle Path runs along the Romže River and connects Konice with Prostějov. It is an easy cycling route that leads mostly through flat terrain. On most sections, the route is paved and runs away from roads.

The Za větrnými mlýny okolo Konice cycling route begins and ends in Konice. During the bike tour, you can see three windmills in Jednov, Přemyslovice and Hačky.
