Tvorovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In the lower part of Tvorovice lies Staré Tvorovice, which served as a monastic estate from the 14th to the 18th century.

History

Nové Tvorovice was established as an independent settlement in the 18th century after the dissolution of the monastic estate. In the 19th century, it was merged with the original settlement to form the municipality of Tvorovice.

The Chapel of Saint Bartholomew in Tvorovice was built in 1883 and dedicated to Saint Bartholomew; some of the materials used in its construction came from a previously mentioned building. The chapel was extensively renovated in 1967.

Nature

A pond in Tvorovice is surrounded by a landscaped park and can be used for recreation and relaxation. Tvorovický rybník is a 1.25-hectare pond behind the football pitch in the lower part of Tvorovice.

The “U Kaple” children’s and park area in Tvorovice is available to visitors for leisure activities; the play equipment there is intended for children aged 3 to 15.

Events

The edition of “Mikroregion Němčicko se baví” held in Tvorovice was part of a traditional series of events that rotated between the municipalities of the microregion. It included a festive parade, competitions between teams and an accompanying programme. The 2023 edition of the “Mikroregion Němčicko se baví” event took place in Tvorovice.

The programme of the Tvorovické hody included performances by local children and activities for children. It also included a social gathering with music at the grounds of TJ Sokol Tvorovice. The programme also featured a mass in the local chapel.

Leisure

Cycle route 5013 runs through Tvorovice between Pivín and Hruška and continues from there to Chřiby Nature Park.
