Křtomil: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Křtomil lies at the foot of the prehistoric burial ground and settlement of Ochozy.

Culture

The bell tower in Křtomil bears a mosaic of Saint Florian. The wayside chapel known as “Boží muka” was originally built of wood and is located to the right of the main road before Křtomil when coming from the direction of Bystřice pod Hostýnem. Křtomil also has a stone statue of the Virgin Mary; two stone crosses are likewise part of the village.

The pond locally known as “Bahňák” is designated as a tourist attraction in Křtomil.

Village life

The traditional bear procession “Vodění medvěda” takes place annually in Křtomil. The Easter rattle tradition “Velikonoční klapotání” is also maintained there every year. The “Pochod kolem obce” walk is held annually around the village, and a children’s day also takes place in Křtomil every year.

Sports

The sports ground in Křtomil is intended for volleyball, Nohejbal, handball, small-sided football, tennis, badminton and ice hockey.

The “Křtomil, náves” bus stop is served by bus route 941.
