History and village character
According to the Brno land registers, Horní Nětčice was founded in 1250 and belonged to the Lipník estate until 1848. The chapel dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua dates from 1911. A statue of Saint Anthony of Padua from 1926 stands in the village square. A stone cross near the chapel dates from 1916; further crosses stand at the sites of Za bránou, dating from 1910, Pochyle, dating from 1915, and Bařinky, dating from 1937.
