Křenovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Křenovice features a distinctive town center surrounding the Church of St. John of Nepomuk, the dominant landmark of the broad, elongated village green. Its Neo-Gothic history is clearly dated: the church was built in 1887–1888 on the site of an original chapel. Its furnishings are also Neo-Gothic and date from the time of its construction.

Culture

One of the important historical sites is Hradisko u Křenovic, one of the most significant archaeological sites in the Přerov District. The Křenovice cemetery is also home to the family crypt of the Vožď family, designed as a chapel in the modern style of the 19th century.

Nature

The landscape is complemented by several clearly designated natural areas. Křenovské louky is a registered significant landscape feature of the ecological ÚSES network. Near the Chapel of St. Anne, the nature biocenter includes two emerging springs with spring water. The area locally known as Skaly adjoins this nature biocenter.

Places of Worship

The Chapel of St. Anne on Koráb was built in 1832 in gratitude for the end of a cholera epidemic. The water from the spring near the Chapel of St. Anne is not drinkable. In the Church of St. John of Nepomuk in Křenovice near Kojetín, a regular prayer of the Marian Večeřadlo takes place every first Saturday of the month at 4 p.m.

In the countryside of the municipality of Křenovice near Kojetín stands the small place of worship, the Chapel of the Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace, which is connected with the message conveyed in Medjugorje. The Chapel of the Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace is accessible around the clock.
