Culture and Townscape

The history of the village includes the former fortress of Dubčany, which was first mentioned in 1407. The northern entrance between the buildings arranged in a circle in Dubčany is traditionally called Brána. In particular, the farmsteads in Dubčany still had projecting structural elements known as Žudry until the middle of the 20th century.

The sights of Dubčany include the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk. Another sight is a statue of Our Lady of Lourdes.

The official cycling route 6244 passes through Dubčany and continues to Odrlice. A column dedicated to the Immaculate Virgin Mary stands along the cycling route from Cholina to Náklo.
