Culture and History

The Chapel of St. Florian was built in 1810 by First Lieutenant Achbauer, commander of the Olšany military depot. It was completely restored in 2019.

The Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was built in 1756. It was reconstructed in 1930 and 1999. After repairs lasting more than six months, it was reopened to the public.

Lutín is home to Gruntova vila, a cultural monument from the 1930s. The surroundings of Lutín are also home to the Pomník obětem 1. světové války monument, the Socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého monument, Kostel sv.Michala church and Kostel Panny Marie Sněžné church.

Nature and Landscape

Velký Kosíř Nature Park is a protected area in the southernmost extension of the Zábřežská vrchovina Highlands. The nature park includes an educational trail and covers an area of 19.6 km².

The Horka and Chlum hills are located in the surroundings of Lutín. The nearby surroundings of Lutín also include the Špitálky hill [Hněvotín] and the Vyhlídka Hněvotín hill [Hněvotín].

Events and Trails

The Velká cena obce Lutín is a recurring youth running competition; its 33rd edition took place on April 22, 2026. The hiking group in Lutín organizes a march along the Mánesova stezka trail.
