Culture and History
The former school in Řídeč is a detached, single-storey building with a rectangular floor plan, a half-hipped roof, and a hexagonal lantern. A chapel dedicated to Saint Wenceslas stands at the upper edge of Řídeč.
The Oltářní kámen lies directly below the blue-marked hiking trail from Řídeč to Chabičov. According to an old local legend, the large, flat slate stone is associated with Celtic rituals, secret Protestant services during the Thirty Years' War, and meetings with Wallachian rebels.
