The Church of St. Isidore is a distinctive landmark of Horní Loděnice. The present Church of St. Isidore was built in the last quarter of the 19th century on the foundations of an earlier church building. Horní Loděnice is first mentioned in a Latin document from 1296.
Culture and History
The iron ore mines are also part of the village's history: Horní Loděnice has had iron ore mines since the Middle Ages, including in the middle of the present-day village. In 2025, the maypole was erected and felled in Horní Loděnice.
Nature
The Sovinecko Nature Park extends into the administrative area of Horní Loděnice. The Trusovický potok stream flows through Horní Loděnice from north to south. A masonry wayside shrine stands on the forest road to Bělkovické údolí.
Activities
Cycling routes 6129, 6029 and 6009 run through Horní Loděnice along road III/44430 and designated routes. Horní Loděnice also has terrain suitable for cross-country skiing.
