Skrbeň: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Northwest of Skrbeň lies Hradisko, a slight elevation and an archaeologically investigated site. Archaeological investigations uncovered postholes from huts, storage pits, polished stone tools, pottery shards, blades and skeletal remains.

Culture

The chapel in Skrbeň was elevated to a parish church in 1869. The historical works of art include the monumental Baroque statue of Saint Florian, created in 1706 by Václav Render. It has stood in the courtyard of the Skrbeň manor since 1742.

The Skrbeň manor complex preserves remnants of a Renaissance staircase, simple Renaissance portals bearing the coat of arms of Jan Skrbeňský z Hříště, and Baroque granaries. Another historical trace is Zlatá křepelka, an old inn for carters on the road from Olomouc to Prague, which has been reconstructed.

Townscape and Routes

The Skrbeň railway stop preserves half-timbered masonry. Cycle route 51A runs through Skrbeň and, like cycle routes 6027 and 6266, connects to Litovelské Pomoraví.

The Ostatky s hanáckým právem carnival tradition in Skrbeň usually takes place every four years.
