Dolní Tošanovice: Holiday Apartments and Houses
Dolní Tošanovice Château, house no. 1, is protected as an immovable cultural monument. At the same time, it stands on the site of a fortress first mentioned as early as 1445 and presents itself as an Empire-style building dating from around the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries.
Culture and Historical Traces
The Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius is designated as a monument of local significance. Historical sites in the municipality also include Dolní Dvůr, a 17th-century estate in Dolní Tošanovice. Its garden is home to an exceptional specimen of an old tulip tree.
Landscape and Trails
Dolní Tošanovice lies in the hilly Těšín Uplands, near the northern foothills of the Moravian-Silesian Beskids. Several hiking trails are currently accessible in the vicinity of Dolní Tošanovice; several cycling routes are also currently accessible there.
The Hipostezka v Pobeskydí bridleway leads from Komorní Lhotka to Horní Tošanovice, where it branches towards Dolní Tošanovice and Třanovice. Dolní Tošanovice is also located near the I/48 main road.
Sports and Leisure in the Municipality
The municipality has a natural-grass football pitch that is leased to TJ Tošanovice. The sports complex also includes a children's playground.
