The Church of St. Peter and Paul is the landmark of Voděrady and a pseudo-Romanesque building. A second distinctive landmark is Osičina Hill in the municipality of Voděrady, where a lookout tower built in 2002 stands.

Culture and History

In the 14th century, Voděrady existed as a fully functioning village with a church. The present Church of St. Peter and Paul was built in 1887 after the older church was demolished; regular services began in January 1888. As early as 1582, the church in Voděrady was equipped with a baptismal font provided by the Častolovice estate.

Visitors to the Church of St. Peter and Paul can park at the bus stop, at the former inn about 100 metres from the church, or in front of the shop in Voděrady. On Sundays, Mass or a Liturgy of the Word is held in the parish church at 10:45 a.m.
