Nová Ves U Albrechtic: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The 20.08-hectare Novoveský rybník water reservoir is located in Nová Ves u Albrechtic and is connected to the Novoveský potok watercourse. The U Miráčků spring (2981) is also located in the cadastral area of Nová Ves u Albrechtic.

Cycling

Two named cycle routes pass through Nová Ves u Albrechtic: Cycle Route 4158 Běleč–Horní Jelení runs through the village for 1.96 km, while Cycle Route 4258 U Dvou Šranků–Nová Ves runs through it for 1.80 km.

Near the municipal office, there is a playground with a cinder play area, a workout area, a children’s playground and a pump track.

Local transport connections are provided by three bus stops: U Křížku, Kvartýr and Transformátor. From there, services run towards Borohrádek and Týniště nad Orlicí. A fourth stop is located at the turn-off from Albrechtice nad Orlicí. The nearest railway stop is in the municipality of Žďár nad Orlicí, 3 km away; regional services V22, V20 and V25 operate there.

Culture

Nová Ves was first mentioned in writing in 1575. Remains of wooden log cabins can be found at Novoveský rybník. At the turn-off from Nová Ves to Novoveský rybník, a memorial cross stands among the trees, surrounded by a small metal fence.

The local events calendar includes the Witch Fire festival and the raising of the maypole, both held in Nová Ves.
