Vernerovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Parish Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Vernéřovice is a Baroque church built in 1719–1720, with its interior completed in 1722. It stands on a hill in the middle of the village cemetery.

Soulkostel has been restored and preserves surviving original parts of the building.

Hiking Trails and Landscape

The long-distance hiking route Stezka Českem passes through Vernéřovice; the village lies at the 64th kilometre of the fifth section of the northern route. There is also a sign marked “Stezka Českem” at the signpost by the Vernéřovice primary school.

A 10 km red-marked route of low difficulty leads to the upper end of Vernéřovice and continues across fields to Vernéřovická studánka. The marked route leads to meadows above Vernéřovice, from which the Broumovské stěny and the distinctive Honský Špičák peak can be seen.

The route passing through Vernéřovice features preserved farmsteads and log houses representing the region’s traditional vernacular architecture.

Agriculture and Regional Produce

Ekofarma Bošina is located in the municipality of Vernéřovice within the Broumovsko Protected Landscape Area and is open to the public. Organised tours for adults provide insights into farm operations, meat processing and animal husbandry. The farm shop sells meat and other agricultural products directly on site, even without pre-ordering.

The “Za poklady Broumovska II” cycle route passes through the entire municipality of Vernéřovice.
