Culture and History

The Chapel of the Name of the Virgin Mary, also known as Sýkora Chapel, was solemnly consecrated on 15 September 1862 and is an immovable cultural monument in Kramolna. Its origins can be traced back to a village assembly: after the older wooden bell tower fell into disrepair, it was decided to build a chapel. The bell of the Chapel of the Name of the Virgin Mary had been buried under a tree stump at house no. 16 and reappeared on 28 October 1918.

Routes and Activities

KČT cycle route no. 4095 between Zábrodí and Náchod runs through Kramolna. Across the border, it continues to Kudowa-Zdrój and Karlów. The Náchod–Vysokov–Václavice 1866 educational trail also continues to Kramolna. The section of the educational trail in Kramolna follows the route along which soldiers marched to Branka Hill, the main scene of the Battle of Náchod.

The tennis courts in Kramolna can be rented by the public; racket rental and beginner courses are also available. After the game, the tennis courts offer seating and refreshments.
