Zábrodí: Holiday Apartments and Houses

Brodský Pond is located in the cadastral area of Zábrodí and covers just under 16 hectares. The recreational area around the pond includes a small rope course, a fairytale trail with wooden sculptures, and a children's playground.

Nature and Landscape

There are forests in the vicinity of Zábrodí. Relatively flat agricultural land stretches east of the village; from there, the view extends across the border to Kłodzko. Looking south from Zábrodí, you can see Náchod Castle and Mount Dobrošov.

Paths and Routes

A blue-marked hiking trail from Zábrodí and Horní Rybníky leads through the valley of the Špinka stream into the Úpa valley. Another, yellow-marked hiking trail begins at the campsite on Brodský Pond and leads towards the Úpa valley.

For cyclists, KČT cycling route 4095 connects Zábrodí with Červený Kostelec, Kramolna, and Náchod.

Culture and History

Several restored monuments form part of the history and character of Zábrodí: the Holy Trinity group has been restored, as has the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk. The monument to the fallen heroes in Zábrodí was unveiled on 17 August 1924.

Zábrodí became part of the Náchod estate as early as 1582.
