Hiking
Běluň lies along a 14 km blue-marked hiking route that leads from Jaroměř via Běluň, Krabčice and Chvalkovice to Hořičky. There is also the Pochod okolo Jaroměře, a recurring hiking event. The 40th edition took place on 21 April 2018, and the 46th edition on 25 April 2026.

Water
The Běluňka stream flows to Běluň, which gives it its present-day name. Below Polcovský dvůr, the Běluňka forms several bends and flows into the Elbe below Heřmanice. The valley along the Běluňka near Běluň was described as particularly romantic by many regional authors around the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries; this characterization has been preserved as a traditional assessment.
