Near Střezetice, on the historic battlefield of Hradec Králové, stands the “Pomník jezdecké srážky u Střezetic”. It commemorates the soldiers and horses who fell in a skirmish on 3 July 1866 as part of the Battle of Hradec Králové. The monument was unveiled on 2 July 2016 to mark the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Hradec Králové.

The monument to Alexandr Baron von Bethmann is a sandstone pyramid with an inscribed plaque in Czech and German. It stands about 300 metres east of Střezetice, in a group of four monuments in an open field. In 1894, it was moved from a field to its present location.

Southeast of Dlouhé Dvory are the “Hroby Obětí války 1866”. The sandstone pyramid marks the grave of 30 Austrian and Prussian soldiers who fell on 3 July 1866. The Edmund von Salemfels tomb commemorates the Austrian First Lieutenant Edmund von Salemfels of the 9th Uhlan Regiment. It is a polished granite pillar with a bronze coat of arms, standing in front of a matching tomb slab.

The monument to Romuald von Dobrucki was moved from a field between Horní Dohalice and Dlouhé Dvory, beside the railway line, to its present location.

Routes and Educational Trail

Cycle Route 4286 runs through Střezetice towards Všestary; along the way, there is a stop at the “Pomník padlých koní” monument.

Střezetice and Dlouhé Dvory are part of an educational trail. From Dlouhé Dvory railway station, hikers can follow a yellow-marked path to Rozběřice and onwards to Chlum, the centre of the 1866 battlefield. Dlouhé Dvory railway station serves as Střezetice’s rail connection; Dlouhé Dvory is administered by the same municipal office.
