Úmonín: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Úmonín is a settlement of medieval origin with a fortress. Úmonín Castle was remodelled around 1870 in the Neo-Renaissance style.

Culture and History

The Úmonín castle complex is registered as an immovable cultural monument in the Central List of Cultural Monuments. The protected Úmonín castle complex includes an English landscape park. A lime-tree avenue leads to the Úmonín castle complex. Úmonín Castle is not open to the public.

Local Life

Refreshments are available at the Dožínky harvest festival at Hospůdka Pod zámkem. The cabins at the Pod zámkem sports complex can be rented.

Getting Around

The MCT3 cycling route is 39.6 km long, with a possible deviation of ±5%. It leads from Bykáň to Úmonín via a field path. The MCT3 cycling route is not suitable for children.
