Tehov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture and Village Life

The Tehovský kulturní spolek organises cultural events such as Christmas and Easter markets, the burning of witches, carnival celebrations and a dragon day. In the vicinity of Tehov, there is also the settlement of Spojené osady Údolí Raků. It emerged from the neighbouring settlements of Údolí Raků, Miriam and Zapomenutých and continues to host sports tournaments and races.

The wider regional area around Tehov is also home to several cultural and historical sites: Práče Fortress, Palác Kinských Palace and The Golz-Kinsky Palace. Galerie Rudolfinum is likewise located in the wider regional area and is a museum.

On the hill north of Tehov, near the wayside shrines at U Křížku, stands a linden tree that was declared a memorial tree of the Czech Republic in January 2017.

The “Okolo Tehova za přírodou i historií” route passes the two forest ponds, Jedlice and V Doubí. In the vicinity of Tehov, a shelter by Jedlice pond provides a place for a snack break.

Activities in Tehov

The treasure hunt “Putování Tehovem za pokladem” starts at the school on the village square and ends on the village square. Tehov’s sports and bike park has a pump track with an integrated dirt-jump track. It is freely accessible to the public year-round; individual areas may be closed for maintenance.

Farma Tehov has a small dairy that processes milk from eight cows, as well as a self-service snack bar. Farma Tehov regularly organises open days and events for children.
