Culture
In ecclesiastical terms, Doubek has always belonged to the Hradešín parish. The Church of St. George, dating from the 12th century, is still used for services there. The SDH Doubek Volunteer Fire Brigade regularly organizes various cultural events for the municipality’s residents.
The former two-class school building from 1906 now houses the municipal office and the local library. The Chronicle of the Municipality of Doubek was begun on 22 August 1915 and has been continued intermittently. The origins of the small bell tower in Doubek can be dated back to 1766.
