Svetice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The 25-kilometre-long “Cesta kocoura Mikeše” educational trail runs through Světice from Hrusice to Mukařov and comprises 14 stops. The village is home to its 11th stop, “Starostovic Mícinka”.

Nature and Landscape

The Říčanský les forest, a legally protected significant landscape feature, is located in the northeastern cadastral area of Světice. Hiking, cycling and horse riding are possible there, as is collecting mushrooms and forest berries. The Říčanský les is considered a refuge for forest wildlife species and is home to an outreach station run by nature conservationists.

V Slatinách comprises natural habitats of ash-alder floodplain forests and oak-hornbeam forests; this significant landscape feature is used for recreation.

U Struh is a damp depression in the terrain on the outskirts of Světice, along the railway line. Its habitats include tall-sedge vegetation and wet willow scrub.

Railway and Townscape

Světice railway station is located on railway line 221 between Praha and Benešov u Prahy. It is step-free; all platforms are accessible and equipped with guide paths featuring warning strips for visually impaired passengers.

Sport and Culture

Opposite the cultural centre in Světice is a sports complex with facilities for football, nohejbal and tennis.

The Světický zvonek is the oldest surviving antiquity in the municipality of Světice.
